The Oparara Valley Project Trust

The Oparara Valley Project Trust manages The Oparara Guided Tours. It is a community initiative, working together with the Department of Conservation.

The Trust has developed and enhanced the existing attractions in the Oparara to become the premium visitor attraction of the northern Buller, encouraging visitors to stay longer.
This will provide increased employment opportunities, and will benefit not only Karamea but the whole of the Buller and the wider West Coast.

The Patron of the Oparara Valley Project Trust is Professor David Bellamy.
